Blondes have more fun!
To be honest, I am envious. Everyone wants what they do not have. For me, it is blonde hair, ivory skin and to be a few inches taller. I have accepted that I am not a slim blonde giraffe. I admire these women with blonde hair. They look soft and fragile.
There are, of course, an array of blondes. Buttery blond hair or light golden blond hair or almost silver blond hair. Since I've always wanted to be blond, I've busied myself wondering what styles suit a blonde woman best. So today I am sharing my thoughts on how to dress as a blonde and what styles and colors are most flattering.
Let's start with colors. On these images, you see women with blond hair. What colors do you see? So what colors and styles work best for blondes?
Bright, soft tones or powdery hues. Blondes usually have fair skin tones, so they have to make sure to not look choose too strong or bold colors that might clash with the fairness. Light colors are refreshing such as, crème and off white, which are better than a bright white. What color do I personally like most on blonde women?
Do you remember the moment when actress, Michelle Williams, wore this yellow dress for the Oscar ceremony? Insanely beautiful! It underlined her beauty and made her radiate.
I think silver tones are also very nice for blondes, as you can see with Taylor Swift. With slightly disheveled hair, it can create a wicked look without looking cheap.
What about blue for blondes? And what does the color blue mean?
The cool tone accentuates the Nordic type just perfectly and acts like a freshness booster for skin and hair. Bright types should wear pastel blues. Dark blondes with tanned skin can also wear very dark or bright blue shades. For me, actress Reese Witherspoon is one of the flagship blondes. She knows how to set her hair and skin tone to the scene and never does anything wrong when it comes to her choice of color. She likes to wear blue.
Blonde shades can either be classified as cool like ash platinum or beige or warm like honey and champagne or golden. The main goal is to match your hair with the colors of your clothes. Another good example is actress Blake Lively. She is also very beautiful and knows how to dress. She has a different blonde shade than Taylor or Michelle, slightly warmer. Her skin tone is also a bit darker.
Blake likes to wear gray tones. Colors that would not be flattering for Blake, would be mustard or curry. Dark blondes like Blake with tanned skin can also wear dark or bright blue tones very well. However, for Blake, I prefer bright colors, as on this next picture.
If you like wearing pink or sweet pink, as Paris Hilton does, you will unfortunately always look somewhat girly. If you want to be taken seriously and like an competent individual, a smart navy blue would look great.
Strong colors, like red and sea blue, are also a good choice. As a blonde, you should steer away from romantic styles or romantic colors. Regardless of which shade of blonde you are, it is too kitschy and girly in every situation. If you pay attention to all this, you will, as the proverb says, blondes have more fun!
