Denim trends that will be huge in 2020
It’s time that denim get an upgrade, so start clearing out your denim drawer and make space to invite these new denim trends into your stylish wardrobe.
Denim jeans are a struggle for most women and the word "tedious“ might come to mind when you think of shopping for a new pair. Finding the right size and cut can be quite the conundrum. Either the length isn't long or short enough, the thighs are too tight or the wash isn’t quite to your liking. However, you’re about to get excited, because you’re bound to find something you like in next season's biggest denim trends.
The denim market is usually a circle of recycled denim trends, but the next trends have really surprised us from Celine Dion's asymmetric jeans (you either love or hate that look) to the new JNCO jeans. If we look back on denim trends, we’ve had some painful and never-forgotten looks, but we’re ready for next season's breath of fresh air!
This is NOT for everyone, so feel free to skip, but you should at least get to know the trend either way. One of fashion's biggest icons, Celine Dion, stepped out wearing a pair and it really caught our attention. Asymmetrical hemlines were already all over the runway, so it’s really so surprise it made its way to the denim market, as well.
If you’re confused and wondering, what is this. Wide or skinny? What are you even doing? Then the next one might be up your ally.
This is another major trend on the runway for dresses, skirts, outerwear and yes, denim. This is a self explanatory one and simple to wear.
3. The "Jnco“ Jeans
This 90s jean got a serious upgrade, so - no, you can’t just go dig your old ones out of your closet. The 2020 version has a very tailored waist and extra wide legs, which makes them quite flattering.
Pastels isn't something you normally hear of when you think of Fall or denim. But we’re obviously doing things differently this year by taking some notes from Spring’s hottest trends. This trend really changes up your look and not to worry, you will not look like a little school girl wearing these - promise.
5. Carpenter Jeans
Everything seems to be workwear inspired right now, because it's a cool look. You already know what they look like; straight legged, multiple pocket (how practical) and maybe a loop for your keys or another practical element. These are an easy tee for a relaxed and stylish look.
Just so we’re clear, the ombre hair trend is over. The dip-dying days are gone. However, it has snuck its way into jeans and it's a killer look, if you ask me.
There you have it, six completely new and stylish denim trends that you should be on the look out for. I’m sure one of them grabbed your attention and your wallet. Remember, styling jeans is as easy as throwing on a white tee and you’ve already put together a classic and refined look.
