Women and the rumoured shoe-check !
I have heard that every ambitious woman looks at a man's shoes and tries to read them like a fortune-teller reads tea leaves. For "such" women, the choice of shoes can supposedly tell them a whole lot about a man. Whether the conclusions are fair or not, I have my doubts.
I like simple explanations. What about football players? What is more enticing - their shoes or their success? If a 3rd league player with beautiful shoes is in rival with a champions league player with ugly shoes, who would get more attention? Exactly! Now apply this logic to any other profession. Can a man's shoes really be that important to the opposite sex? Do his shoes count more than his inner values, humour, eyes, smell, voice and so on? I say, most definitely.
Assuming it's really true, which shoes do women like? Sporty sneakers or fine patent-leather shoes? I would say, the pair that suggests the person wearing them has lots of money!
Here is a small selection of shoes along with their drawbacks!
If a man wears moccasins, boat shoes or loafers, women immediately think: „Oh, he must come from money, because only the offspring of rich parents, studying law or business administration, wear these types of shoes. If he also possesses refined manners and good wit, you might have landed the right guy. But beware: worst-case scenario, the cliché might turn out to be true and his arrogance may even surpass his stuffiness. Let's be honest, it's not about the shoes, it's about what they represent!
Budapesters are classic, handmade, welted-leather shoes for the elegant, worldly man with good taste. Ideally, the wearer of these shoes is a stylish gentleman with money and a sense for the beautiful things in life. Unfortunately, this shoe preference can also mean that he is a macho, who loves to conquer and break the hearts of beautiful women.
The obvious athletic inclination to any kind of physical activity or simply a lack of sense of style drives a man to wear sports shoes all the time. While the first type tends to have a firm physique, as well as sweaty feet thanks to the excessive exercising, the latter is usually rather unsexy. If he genuinely is the sporty type with sporty shoes, it at least gives him authenticity and speaks for his down-to-earth, honest character.
The man of your dreams wears Chucks? Then he is either not yet 30, over 30 years old, very relaxed and cool or over 30 years old and works for an advertising agency where the popular cousin of the sneaker has become the self-chosen, staple uniform. However, if your date has nothing to do with the advertising world and loves Chucks, then he also loves to enjoy life rather than working on his career.

Cowboy Boots and Motorcycle Boots
Either he really rides a motorcycle, would like to own one or he's into heavy metal music. His boots betray one thing above all else: in his heart, he is still a boy and real-life urban cowboy. He loves any kind of adventure, fun and a woman with whom he can hit the bars. So instead of dreaming of the idyllic, single-family home in the suburbs, you're dreaming of a big trip on Route 66 through the USA - he's your guy.
Sandals and orthopedic shoes
If there is no medical reason for a guy to walk through life wearing orthopedic shoes or airy sandals (sweaty feet, foot deformities, etc.), he is either an avowed monk or has an unwavering love of comfort. Style is not something he understands.
As eye tracking research shows us: Men and women see the world completely differently - in the truest sense of the word.
Men look first at the eyes when looking at the faces of humans or animals. Women, on the other hand, look a little lower. They tend to focus on the nose or mouth. And some will focus even lower: on the size of the wallet.
Oh yeah: A Tinder evaluation from 2016 showed that women are especially attracted to pilots, entrepreneurs and firefighters.
Conclusion: Shoes are not the criteria for mate selection for women, but can be the cause of endless nagging.
