The best festival outfits - for the morning after
The festival was great and the event was long. The next morning you want to look nice in different clothes, but you only have one little bag to carry everything in. What can you do look fresh and rested the next day? What pieces do you need for a good looking “morning‘ after” the festival?
In general, bathrooms at the festival are very crowded, you can not take a shower, or would have to wait in long lines.
Take some refreshing cleansing towels, moisturizing spray and moisturizer in your bag along with a little make up: like rouge, lip gloss, mascara, a hairbrush and a hairband. Secondly, you need a clean shirt, warm sweater, if the weather gets a bit chilly, a big scarf, pair of socks plus a spare pair of shoes in case the other pair gets wet or dirty and a warm blanket.
- A. Curvy girl:
She likes the music, will stay over night in a tent. She loves her life, is curvy and knows how to dress herself. She carries all the pieces she needs in a cross body messenger bag.
At the festival: A midi long wide skirt with a light summery pattern. The light blue shirt with a nice neckline gets tucked inside the skirt. Belt. Wedges with funny socks.
Next morning: First of all, clean face with a tissue and use moisturizer to get a fresh and rested look. A hairband will hold back long hair. What to wear: If it’s chilly, combine the skirt with a light woolen short sweater, straight cut with a deep neckline to show a little décolleté . If the wedges are dirty, change into plateau sneakers. New socks match the sweater.
- B. Young Girl:
It is her first festival and she is here with her boyfriend for the experience. Sure, she wants to look sexy and attractive for him. She has brought everything for her and her boyfriend in a rucksack.
At the festival: She wears rolled up shorts, a red cropped, sequin top, an oversized white blouse on top, open. Funny colored rubber boots and rolled up socks.
Next morning: She uses a mineral spray for her face. It is refreshing and moisturizing. Fixes her hair with a ribbon on her forehead. Some lipgloss and mascara is all she needs.
She has a wooly cardigan in the rucksack, but she loves to wear her boyfriend’s big sweater to wear over the oversized blouse- so cosy and warm in the morning! Some leggings under her shorts keep her warm - silver sneakers - that's it!
- C. Last bohemian middle age:
She is the last hippie and loves festivals. They remind her of Woodstock. She is alone with her guitar and her tent and with a big shoulder bag to carry all the things she needs. She doesn’t need too much.
At the festival: flared jeans with badges, white trumpet arm blouse with embroidery, leather vest with fringes. A band around her head. Boots.
Next morning: She cleans and refreshes her face with a prepared tissue, moisturizer. She leaves her hair like it is - loves this straight out of bed style. She uses rouge for her cheeks - and a natural lipstick. She wears jeans, switches the blouse for a t-shirt that has a half length button tape and leaves it unbuttoned. Vest on top. A large printed pink scarf keeps her warm on a chilly morning.
- D. Rock Lady:
She is here with three friends listening to the band in which a friend of theirs plays and brings her stuff in the saddlebags of the motorbike.
At the festival: Skinny black jeans, cropped. Black shirt with punk motives. High heels, leather jacket with rivets. Wide belt around her small waist. The typical black leather cap on her head.
Next morning: Just a little refreshing with spray and lipgloss. She has leather pants on that she came with. Instead of the punk shirt, she wears a turtleneck sweater in grey, a little triangular scarf around her neck. She enjoyed the festival and is ready to go home by bike to take a bath and wash her hair.
