Out of Office - A day with the girls
Free day! My absence mode is switched on and my alarm clock is switched off. I have slept well and can’t wait for what the day will bring.
First, I make myself comfortable on the sofa in my new pyjamas. The cool silk engulfs me, the sun is shining and I start my day with newspaper, coffee and a piece of cake. I love it!
With my laptop on my knees, I start surfing the web - what’s playing at the cinema? The new bar in the city centre has finally opened and the Italian ‘IN’ restaurant makes me hungry.
Yes, that’s exactly it! I am going to dinner in the Dolce Vita. A large portion of pasta and a tiramisu for dessert, that’s what I’m missing today - just my luck.
I am washing my hair, taking a shower and today I even put on lace underwear, which is usually only taken out of the drawer for special occasions.
For my evening premiere, I’ve never worn a dress with such an ingenious cut before. I feel comfortable and can hardly wait to order a fine pasta in the Dolce Vita. Wine with it? Let’s have a look!
On the way to the restaurant, my friend Nicole runs into me! She wants to go shopping and needs my advice. I actually had another plan, but we agree - first shopping, then eating.
A dress, skirt, leather trousers, jeans and what about a dress for the opera ball?
It is chosen, tried and calculated - seems to me like we should be candidates for ‘Shopping Queen’. As always, it’s a great time shopping until my heart’s content, but then I realized the time!
My girlfriend likes the dress she bought so much that she changes into it right away, for our dinner in the Dolce Vita.
By the way, I also bought something: I couldn’t resist the blue high heels I had seen in the shop! The shoes go well with my jeans and the dress so, as always, the investment was worth it.
The food at the Dolce Vita was excellent! And with a glass of wine the day looks even better. We are not ready to go home yet.
The new bar is calling. We change first, and move on to either a cool sequin dress or stylish lace top? My new blue shoes go well with both outfits, but the sequin dress gets the contract. Now I feel excitingly and stylishly dressed. ‘Hey Daisy’! We are coming!
Nicole looks positively sophisticated in her pantsuit, which is embroidered all over with shiny sequins. She wears a jacket without a hood and finishes it off with a black belt.
We are in such a good mood, even the taxi driver wished he could come to ‘Hey Daisy’!
After two Gin Tonics we decide to end the night with a classical concert.
We head to the Gasteig and hope that we can still get tickets at the box office.
